A four-step procedure ensures that Quick Fuel
commercial fleet customers are getting the best fuel for even
the harshest winters.
- In fall, Quick Fuel treats all storage tanks with a drying agent to help eliminate water. The agent combats moisture caused by condensation and falling temperatures.
- Then, a special cold-weather additive from a leading supplier is used to guard against gelling, increase lubricity, and improve engine performance.
- Throughout the cold weather season, product from supply terminals is tested for Cloud Point, Cold Filter Plug Point (CFPP), and moisture content.
- Finally, the company's supply and distribution staff monitors weather conditions using a satellite hookup and specialized software. Quick Fuel then blends the appropriate quantities of #1 oil to ensure operability in each local market.
Quick Fuel is committed to providing a proven, high quality winter fuel to insure peak operability even in the coldest regions of the country.
